Hope your Friday is going well..

I am tired today...Yesterday we had snow for the first time this winter...And we shoveled and we used our snow blowers... 3 times we did it..Twice yesterday and once this morning and I have not gone out this afternoon so I don't know what the driveway looks like...The wind is wicked with snow drifts...Even tho the snow drifts are really pretty...I love how the wind shapes them.. I just don't like the drifts in the middle of the driveway...It's not as windy as yesterday or early this moning..

It did catch up with me energy wise...I forget I am on chemo at times and I do way to much...Especially with the news that I don't have cancer anywhere else and that the tumor is gone...I still have to go through chemo.. In my mind I am healed and feel like I can do alot more things and then it hits me. So today it hit me with just plain old tiredness...So I have been napping off and on...

Yesterday while the winds were whipping and the snow blowing I did open the curtains on one window...I worked on a flannel blanket while I watched the wind and snow blowing for Russ...A year ago my daughter in law made me a flannel blanket that you don't sew but tie knots...Well that blanket is toasty...And Russ really wanted one so I bought some flannel fabric last weekend and worked on it yesterday and it was ready for him for last night..We have our master bedroom in the basement and it is much cooler down in the basement but let me tell you these blankets are toasty as can be..I also worked on a pattern...Well I cut out the pattern to lay out on the fabric...I haven't cut it out yet today...Maybe tonight..if not tonight I will work on it this weekend...

This weekend will be a quiet one..Well it is the beginning of our 6 month budget of being frugal and watching our pennies...so we are going to plan the next couple of weeks for groceries and what we want to do...It is a good time to play catch up on things in the house....fixing things and working on some wood projects that we want to do...finish all unfinished projects we have started...We have put things off and now is a really a good time to finsih everything...And plan for new ideas and start on them...I love these kind of weekends...
